As a result of moisture, mold or bacteria, fungal infections may appear on the feet and nails and often are very unpleasant and painful.
The first stage of fungal infection is white or yellow spots on the top of the nail. Over time it can change the color or shape of the nail. This occurrence may become very uncomfortable and painful. Without proper treatment the fungus cannot be cured.
Baking soda is one of the most effective tools against fungal infections.
The mixture made of baking soda and apple cider vinegar is good precisely because soda is not a fungicide, which means it will not kill the fungus, but it will prevent fungus’ spread and growth, while vinegar is used to kill the fungus
Ingredients needed:
- 5 tablespoons of baking soda
- 1 cup of apple cider vinegar
- Water
Method of preparation:
Put the vinegar in a bigger bowl and soak your feet in it for 15 minutes or so. Dry your feet, using paper cloth, afterwards. Repeat the procedure once again, but this time before you soak your feet, add the baking soda.
Repeat this procedure several times a day. This method’s purpose is for the vinegar to kill the fungus and the baking soda to prevent their growth and spread.
